Dia de lo Muertos is a holiday celebrated during the halloween season. It is generally celebrated in MExico and in some other Latin American countries. It is a time to celebrate and remeber all the great and wonderful people that have passed on in your life. In America we generally think of it as a sad holiday, but in Mexico they think of it as one of the happiest holidays they celebrate. To help celebrate for the dead people, the mexicins go to the persons grave and put tha tpersons favirate things. For instants if someone died and they liked DR. Peper their friends and family would put DR. Peper on the grave, stuff like that. People also make sugar skulls. Sugar skulls are exactly what they say, little skulls made of sugar and often times have food paint on them to make them more decarative.
